Mai Huyền Chi (Chi Mai) là một cây bút kiêm nhà làm phim người Việt Nam.
Tốt nghiệp chương trình Thạc sĩ Biên kịch tại Trường Điện ảnh London, cô từng đảm nhiệm vai trò biên kịch phim Câu chuyện Brixton (Đề cử Phim truyện Hay nhất, Slamdance 2021), Chàng Vợ Của Em (Giải Cánh Diều Vàng cho Phim Điện ảnh Xuất sắc Nhất 2018), và Cô gái Đắk Lắk (2021). Tác phẩm đạo diễn đầu tay của cô, phim tài liệu ngắn Thì Sông Cứ Chảy, lọt vào vòng chung cuộc giải Phim hay nhất năm 2015 của Vimeo. Tiếp nối bộ phim tài liệu này, Chi đang phát triển The River Knows Our Names, phim truyện đạo diễn đầu tay. Phim kể về cộng đồng vô quốc tịch trên sông Mê Kông gần biên giới Campuchia – Việt Nam. Dự án giành Giải thưởng Viễn Đông Udine tại Diễn đàn Tài trợ Điện ảnh của Hồng Kông và du ngoạn tới Thị trường Đồng Sản xuất Tiêu điểm Châu Á (Liên hoan phim Viễn Đông 2020), Locarno Open Doors, SEAPitch của Liên hoan phim Bangkok ASEAN, và Feature Lab của Liên hoan phim Quốc tế Singapore.
Ngoài làm phim, Chi còn hợp tác với các nghệ sĩ thuộc nhiều lĩnh vực khác nhau cùng sản xuất phim múa, sắp đặt video, và các tác phẩm trình diễn đa phương tiện.

A graduate from the MA Screenwriting program at the London Film School, she has earned writing credits for A Brixton Tale (Nominee, Best Narrative Feature, Slamdance 2021), My Mr. Wife (Winner, Best Pictures, Golden Kite Film Festival, 2018), and The Girl from Daklak (2021). Her directorial debut was the short documentary Down The Stream which was a finalist for Vimeo's Best of the Year in 2015. Following this documentary, Chi is developing The River Knows Our Names, her feature-length directorial narrative debut. The film is about the stateless community on the Mekong River near the Cambodia-Vietnam border. The project won Far East Udine Award at Hongkong’s Film Financing Forum, traveled to Focus Asia Co-production Market (2020 Far East Film Festival), Locarno Open Doors, Bangkok ASEAN Film Festival's SEAPitch, and Singapore International Film Festival's Feature Lab.
Besides films, Chi collaborates with artists of different disciplines to produce dance films, video installations, and performative multi-media works.
