X.Lan (Nguyễn Vũ Xuân Lan) là một họa sỹ minh họa tại Hà Nội. Sau khi tốt nghiệp đại học Ngoại Ngữ và đi dạy một thời gian, Lan chuyển hướng sang vẽ tranh như một sở thích, rồi dần dần phát triển thành nghề nghiệp. Bên cạnh vẽ minh họa, Lan đã từng có thời gian sáng lập và làm quản lý cộng đồng họa sỹ minh họa trẻ Vietnam Local Artist Group (thuộc TiredCity), và tổ chức một số workshop, khóa học về sketchnote. Sáng tác của Lan thường xoay quanh những khoảnh khắc đời thường gần gũi hoặc những mẩu truyện tranh hài hước nhẹ nhàng.
Một số dự án, thành tích nổi bật của X.Lan:
- 2015: Thực hiện Artist’s Book Workshop và tham gia Kệ Exhibition.
- 2016: Giải nhất cuộc thi “Hý Họa về Đình Đẳng Giới” (Comic and Cartoon Contest – Gender Equality) do UNWomen Vietnam và đại sứ quán Bỉ tổ chức.
- 2019: Xuất bản cuốn sách minh họa đầu tay “199 mấy, hồi ấy làm gì?”
- 2021: Thuộc ban giám khảo cuộc thi vẽ minh họa “Hà Nội là…” do TiredCity phối hợp với UNESCO Vietnam tổ chức.
X.Lan (Nguyễn Vũ Xuân Lan) is an illustrator based in Hanoi, Vietnam. After graduating from the University of Foreign Languages and working as a teacher for a time, she shifted her focus to drawing as a hobby, which gradually evolved into a professional career. Beyond illustration, Lan co-founded and managed the Vietnam Local Artist Group (under TiredCity) and organized workshops and courses on sketchnotes. Her creative works often revolve around relatable everyday moments or lighthearted, humorous comic strips.
Notable Projects and Achievements of X.Lan:
- 2015: Conducted the Artist’s Book Workshop and participated in the Kệ Exhibition.
- 2016: Won first prize in the Comic and Cartoon Contest – Gender Equality, organized by UN Women Vietnam and the Belgian Embassy.
- 2019: Published her debut illustrated book, 199 mấy, hồi ấy làm gì? (Roughly translated: 199-something, what were we doing then?).
- 2021: Served as a jury member for the Hà Nội là… (Hanoi is...) illustration contest, organized by TiredCity in collaboration with UNESCO Vietnam.
